Freight Charges

Freight, if applicable, is based on destination and quantity ordered. It is predetermined in the selling price or applicable when requested.

LTL orders are shipped freight collect and are subject to additional packaging charges to protect the doors.



Sales tax will be collected in addition to the total selling price unless a resale tax certificate is provided for the purpose of resale.


Natural Causes

Shipments are subject to unforeseeable strikes, accident, terrorism and other nature disasters such as fire, flood, hurricane, tornado, earthquakes, tsunamis, etc beyond our control. Consequential claims of losses and damages as a result are not admissible.



Payments are due before delivery. In exceptional condition, terms net 10 days can be arranged with credit checks and due diligence. There will be a service charge of 1.5% on overdue amount per month for overdue invoices. In the case of transfer of business, insolvency of the buyer or suit against the buyer by another creditor, the invoices are due immediately. No shipment will be sent if the account is not current.



Doors are palletized with protective packaging to minimize chances of shipping and handling damages. For LTL shipment of less than 40 doors, there will be an additional charge of $30 for extra packaging material needed to protect shipment.



Cancellation of order will not be accepted after the doors are fabricated or at the midst of production when raw materials are cut. Changes of specification are subject to Aegis approval and will be based on the nature and timing of the change. There shall be no cancellation to special custom orders.



Truck Deliveries:

All shortages or damages must be reported at the time of receipt. A signed delivery ticket is considered as evidence of the receipt of goods. Any claims for concealed damages will be subject to our inspection before adjustments can be made.


LTL Deliveries:

Our responsibility ceases with the issue of Bill of Lading showing deliveries to the carrier in good order. Claims for shortages, losses or damages of any kind must be filed with the transportation company by the consignee.


Defective Merchandize:

Claims for defects in workmanship or material are subject to inspection by our sales reps. We are not responsible for defects caused by abuse, neglect, or mishandling after goods pass over from our control.



Request for returns is subject to approval from Aegis. All return authorizations must accompany shipment and prepaid at customer’s expense unless otherwise agreed upon by Aegis. 25% restocking charge will be assessed on all materials except return of defective material.
